Declaration by Mary Manning, widow of Benjamin Manning, regarding the pedigree of Benjamin Manning and the intestacy of his father.

Mary, nee Makeham, married Benjamin Manning 23 Jan 1817. They had 5 children: Elizabeth born 2 Oct 1817 and died 12 Aug 1830. Ezra and Jane, twins, born 7 Feb 1820. Ezra died 27 Nov1828; Jane still living at time of declaration. Benjamin born 31 Aug 1822; still living at time of declaration. Mary born 11 Jun 1828 and died on or about 17 Jan1830. Mary and Benjamin were dissenters from the Church of England and so did not have their children baptised. The births of Elizabeth, Mary and Ezra were not registered, and the births of Benjamin and Jane were not registered until 13 Sep 1837, when they were registered at the Registry of Births kept at Dr William's library, Red Cross Street, Cripplegate, London. Benjamin Manning (husband of Mary) died 9 Aug 1845 without having made a Will.
