Laments more attention not paid to it, thinks it will become more and more difficult "for him to meet with and obtain such a necessary fortune as he wants and deserves". Picture of Handel. Mrs. R[obinson] informed Lady G[rantham] of it. Thought it had been Mr. Harris's. Thinks he has seen the picture by Scott in an Exhibition. Put bedding in Grantham's room even though he may not want it. Feels well but didn't go to Church due to cold weather. "Oppression and spitting" last night, gone now.
