  • Scope and Content
Has been to Drury Lane to see Kean, and although he got little applause writer thinks him much improved. Kean is no longer the rage in 'Macbeth', cannot compare to J Kemble and Mrs Siddons. Critique of the other actors, including Mrs Bartley who is not improved by marriage. Mrs Glover vulgar. Asks that Lady Elizabeth will improve the front of Mrs Glover's dress. Can any power human or divine make her less outrageous, and less vulgar.
