- Scope and ContentTo Lord Stourton: about the petition with hopes that he will sign it. To the other recipients: adverse comments on the Government for stopping Irish Petitions for toleration. Proposes general adoption of SW's petition. The number of signatures is triple the number attached to the Petition of 1792, supported by C.J. Fox. To carry it through parliament would be the pride of Mr. Whitbread's life. Necessity to produce more petitions. Would like Lord Stourton and Lord Fingall to support it.
