    Reciting trust deeds SW1-12 up to 1811 in so far as they relate to …parcel of ground by river side adjoining churchyard of Kempston, 1 rood … spinney of elm in Church End, Kempston, 1 rood with cottage late in occupation of widow Browne Reciting that notwithstanding the above, it does not appear that the trustees have ever been in possession of the same, or received rent for them Reciting that in 1801 Sir William Long purchased of the heirs of John Cater, esquire the manor etc. and other properties, including … a cottage and ground in Church End adjoining the Town House there belonging to the said Trustees on the west side, and the river Ouse on the east side, containing 2 roods 16 perches, and there is no other premises of like description there, and no spinney there except the other spinney of elms belonging to Trustees at the west end of the town House, and that the Caters and Sir William Long have always taken the profits of the above cottage Reciting that one John Rudd formerly incroached on the waste of the manor of Kempston Greys alias Hastingsbury at Little worth End, enclosing 7 perches on which he built a cottage, and acknowledged this by paying to the lord 6s..8d, and that from their accounts the Trustees of the Charity on 27 June 1716 paid John Rudd £9 for his interest in the cottage, and they afterwards paid the 6s..8d to the lord of the manor, but that the Trustees have never had a conveyance of the cottage, nor any rent for it, but have allowed the Overseers of the Poor to use the same, together with the Town House, as a house for poor persons, and that this cottage is now decayed, and is also a considerable distance from the village Reciting agreement for Trustees to give up rights in cottage on waste in return for Sir William Long surrendering rights in cottage at Church End Conveyance (Lease and Release) by i) to ii) in consideration of above of … cottage at Church End abutting N. on churchyard and E. on Ouse, S. on cottage and pightle of Joseph Margetts Pierson now in occupation of John Brooks, and part W. on the Town House
