"I developed laryngitis on Tuesday night, & am now in bed trying to clear it away as I don't want a repetition of Easter 1945! I felt it coming on on Monday. I am sorry I shall have to postpone the St John's canon again, & also abandon the Confirmation Class tomorrow night. Could you broadcast this to as many of the girls as possible? I think you know who they are. And would you kindly ask Mrs Miles to tell Mrs Franklin there will be no 8 a.m. Mass tomorrow (Friday)? Also Aunt Eva (in case she was coming). What a nuisance it all is!
