    Letter 1: states he is now in the Secretary's office at Free Town. Is glad to hear of the abolition of the Slave Trade and the formation of the African Institution. Letter 2: arrival of the Governor, Thomas Perronet Thompson, and his quarrel with the former governor on the subject of the slave trade. Free Town has had its name changed to George Town, and the power invested in the white inhabitants, which makes them ill use the black people. Complaints against them.
