Scope and Content
Resolution of the Trustees of the British Museum was to accept the offer of the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury to deposit the Hargrave Library in the Museum. Has therefore applied for the whole Library. Should duplicates be found when checking with the catalogue, the Museum must take the best copy. It will be for the Museum Trustees to decide how far they can comply with Mr Hargrave's request.
