For £700. … a messuage and appurtenances and close in Offord Danes (purchased by William Naylor from William Simcott, gentleman and wife Mary), together with: 107 acres dispersed in the fields of Offord Danes; 2 closes called Brooke Closes (5 acres); Parlow Close and a little close called Cotton containing 3 acres; Snapp Close (2 acres); a close near Skidmans Pond (1½ acres); all late in occupation of James Brabrooke deceased. Also 2 acres of Cherry Orchard; a messuage with a little close behind it and 2 closes called Stony Land, in possession of Robert Payne; Cotten Close (15 acres); Snapp Close (3 acres); a close called Bourne Cotten (15 acres); all in Offord Danes; and 1 acre meadow in Offord Cluny; (which last messuage and closes were purchased by William Naylor or [rectius "of"] Richard Dawson and Percival Pilborne [no details] Witnesses: Richard Nailour, George Blundell and Edward Haberfield [copy on paper]
