Documents relating chiefly to the Hawnes Park Estate in Hawnes, Wilshamstead and Houghton Conquest, and including papers of the Carteret family, belonging to Hawnes School, Haynes Park.

Catalogued in 1938 when on temporary loan to the record office. At this time a note was made that 'many of the documents in this collection were found in a loose state and have now been arranged. Deeds found in their original bundles are distinguished from those found in disorder.' The documents themselves were deposited with the record office in 1975.
