Court of King's Bench), and Sir Thomas Peyton of Knowlton (county Kent), baronet, to Sir George Carteret … a piece of arable containing 25 acres 1 rood 1 perch in the North West angle of Church Field in Hawnes, in occupation of Samuel Ashbolt, abutting North on lands of Sir George Carteret, East, partly on lands of Sir George Carteret and partly on the highway there, South, partly on lands of said John Osborne senior in the common field there and partly on the wood called Oxe Leys there, West and South West on the Lady Conquest's land (to the use of the said Sir George Carteret for ever) Witnesses: Richard H[a]ll, Thomas Lockwood, Jeremy Hyett, Robert Raworth, John Gilberd and John Miller [5 papered seals]
