Reciting that William Yirrell, late of Leighton Buzzard, butcher, deceased, in 1881 agreed to purchase of William James Bodger, late of Leighton Buzzard, surgeon and apothecary, deceased, the below mentioned copyhold property for £200 which sum was paid to William James Bodger, and said William James Bodger at the request of William Yirrell, but in his own name, carried out the enfranchisement of the same premises, which took place on 15 December 1881
William James Bodger died on 23 October 1883. By his will dated 2 October 1885, proved (Northampton) on 11 February 1884, he bequeathed all his property to wife, i)
William Yirrell died on 30 May 1883, by will dated 1 March 1883 he appointed his son, Henry, and William Claridge, of Leighton Buzzard, farmer, executors and trustees, and bequeathed estate (excepting rent charge of 30s per week to wife) to sons, ii). Will proved (Northampton) on 9 May 1884
