    i) John Odell Agutter ii) John Loke Reciting admission of i) to cottage and copyhold land on 26, 27 October 1865 and on 27 October surrendered the same to the use of ii) to secure repayment of said £550, which surrender has not yet been enrolled on the court rolls i) is now erecting 4 cottages on East end of the copyhold close of garden ground and to complete the same has requested ii) to lend him a further £250 now in consideration of £550 still due and a further £250 paid by ii) to i) i) covenants that freehold cottages (as in mortgage of 29 Sep 1865 [RY1256]) and copyhold cottages (and 4 being erected - as in surrender of 27 October 1865) shall from henceforth be a security for repayment of said £800 and interest at 5% per annum i) covenants to pay £250 on 25 August 1867 with interest at 5% per annum i) will insure cottages being built for £300 in joint names of himself and ii) signed: i) endorsed receipt for £250 witness: Henry Pettit, solicitor, Leighton Buzzard 25 Feb 1867 attached: Further charge a) John Odell Agutter b) John Loke Reciting above principal sums of £550 and £250 a) has since date of annexed deed pulled down the 2 copyhold properties and has erected 3 messuages on the site in the occupations of Henry Phillips, George Mead and William Agutter now on security of further £200 paid by b) to a) and interest at 5% per annum, a) covenants that premises in annexed deed shall be chargeable for said sum of £200 and interest in case default is made in repayment, then all provisos for repayment in annexed deed are applicable also to said £200 signed: a) receipt witness: Frederick Willis, solicitor, Leighton Buzzard 11 July 1870
