    i) Thomas Eames, Standbridge, Leighton Buzzard, plait dealer ii) Thomas Butcher junior, Tring, Hertfordshire, banker Thomas Little, Tring, Hertfordshire, farmer Benjamin Crouch, Tring, farmer Joseph Morten Gurney, Tring, farmer (trustees of the Tring Benefit Building Society) i) being a member of the Society and the holder of 2 shares numbered 30 and 31 is entitled to receive £175 from the Society now in consideration of £175 paid to i) by ii) i) in exercise of authority given by him by deed of 25 October 1848 between a) Joseph Flint and Thomas Price b) Mary Flint and c) Thomas Eames appoints that ... all so much as is freehold of ... plot of land on Mill Field (2 acres 2 roods 9 perches) North East and North: Thomas Eames, farmer East: Tilsworth South: copyhold allotment of John Flint West (part): ancient enclosure of i) West (remaining part) & South West: ancient enclosures of John Flint North West: private road numbered 4 by enclosure commissioners to the use of ii) also i) assigns to ii) ... such part of above land as is leasehold for residue of term of 500 years granted by deed of 24 May 1725 between 1) Richard Jackson 2) Sarah Jeffs, spinster except the last 10 days of said term to be held on various trusts enabling i) to hold the property while he makes the prescribed payments. In default ii) may sell the property money to be ultimately recoverable shall not exceed £200 signed: i) endorsed receipt witness: Henry Faithfull, solicitor, Tring 3 Nov 1848 also endorsed with declaration by the trustees of the Tring Benefit Building Society that Thomas Eames had paid £7 "in full satisfaction and discharge of all Mortgages..." 29 May 1856
