Admission of Caroline Summerfield, wife of Richard Summerfield, under the will of her father William Roadnight, Linslade, Buckinghamshire, toll clerk, who died on 2 November 1844 and whose will was dated 11 October 1844, to ... one land arable (½ acre) in Middle Field of Leighton Buzzard in Leck Brook furlong South: Leck Brook East: formerly Lord Leigh and since of Dr Maltby, being glebe West: late John Millard and then --- North: Flitch of Bacon Hedge highway which was purchased by William Roadnight from James Sanders, who was admitted tenant at court on 3, 4 June 1819 on surrender of John Partridge and wife Mary ... one land or half acre arable in Middle Field of Leighton Buzzard South: Leedon Close once of William Claridge and then of Charles and William Claridge North: formerly Mrs Ashwell and then Edward Ashwell, esquire shooting towards Hockliffe turnpike road to which said John Sanders was admitted at court on 3, 4 June 1819 on surrender of John Deverell and wife Ann above property James Sanders and wife Sarah surrendered on 21 December 1842 to the use of William Roadnight, in consideration of £88, but to which said William Roadnight was never admitted tenant William Roadnight also purchased of James Sanders a freehold piece of land lying near Capshill Bridge
