Admission of John Stevens, Nightingale Lane, St Anne's, Limehouse, Middlesex, victualler, on the surrender of James Clark, Leighton Buzzard, innholder, and William Claridge, Leighton Buzzard, carrier, on 5 November 1816 and in consideration of £248..6s..11d, and the surrender on the same day, of John Morris of Ampthill, brewer, in consideration of £326..13s..1d paid to him in full of principal, interest and beer account monies due on a conditional surrender, and £125 paid to Robert Stevens of Leighton Buzzard, victualler Total £700 of ... a messuage in North End of Leighton Buzzard called the Black Horse, formerly in occupation John Stevens deceased, then John Dell, then James Dell deceased and then Robert Stevens South: Friday Street on part of which premises 4 cottages have lately been erected by said Robert Stevens on site of barn and stables belonging to said Black Horse said cottages now in occupation Mrs Sarah Lee, Thomas Rogers, widow Warwick and Thomas Collett to which said James Dell was admitted on the surrender of John Dell and wife and to which said John Morris was admitted at court held on 28, 29 October 1813 on conditional surrender of James Dell and to which said James Clark and William Claridge were admitted on 31 October and 1 November last as devisees in trust under will of James Dell deceased
