    i) Robert Simes, Great St Bartholomew, London, distiller, son of Thomas Simes late of Leighton Buzzard, shoemaker deceased John Bedcott, Leighton Buzzard, tallow chandler John Ashwell, Leighton Buzzard, scrivener [the executors of the will of Thomas Simes] ii) Daniel, John and Edward Simes, younger sons of Thomas, and Mary and Elizabeth Simes, daughters of Thomas iii) William Chew, St Pulchers, London, esquire, surviving executor of last will of Elizabeth Chew, his mother iv) Blandina Marsh, Dunstable, spinster Thomas Lockington, Christ Church, London, esquire, and wife Mary (Blandina and Mary being daughters and executors of last will of John Marsh late of Leighton Buzzard, gentleman deceased) v) William Pratt, South Mimms, Middlesex, yeoman Reciting that Thomas Simes mortgaged the Cock Inn, Leighton Buzzard to John Marsh for £120 and interest, which mortgage was assigned to Elizabeth Chew, and death of John Marsh and Elizabeth Chew who made her sons Thomas, now deceased, and William her executors, and reciting will of Thomas Simes 1 August 1700, leaving to i) the freehold house in Leighton Buzzard called the Cock to sell the same, and that the mortgage deed and assignments are lost, but that the £120 is still owing Conveyance (Lease and Release) by i) and ii) and iii) to v) for £120 and 10s ...
