The other side is a photo of Lord Alwyne Compton, the Conservative candidate for North Beds.: he was lucky enough to loose his seat this year. That is my photo. I am standing beside the Police Sergeant. Lord Alwyne Compton is at the driving wheel of his motor. This photo was taken on Polling Day. Well Dearest kindly remember me to Mr & Mrs Edwards & the rest of the family. Please excuse scribble as I want to catch the midday post. Fondest love from Charle xxxx.'
