Card sent to : Miss Malcher, The Paddocks, Aston. Nr. Roade, Northampton. Message reads " Dear E, Many thanks for long letter. I was glad to hear you was going on so well & hope you will soon be able to come up as the talk is of all troops will be cleared out of here between the 10th and 15th. I know the boys would like to see you again, have been down to a football match this afternoo nearly got starved to death, but the ??? won. They haven't lost a match yet. Am just sending this P.C. as it is one of the latest out. Now dear hurry up for it will be dreadful quiet when they have gone. Love to you from us all. Rose. "
