A long letter about William Whitbread who was a labourer employed and paid by writer's gardener. The gardener left and according to WW owed him 6 months wages, although the gardener had been regularly paid by Lord Charles. Another man made the same claim and was paid, but WW was so rude and insolent that Lord Charles declined to have anything to do with the matter.
