Lee, Chippendale Street, Lenton Boulevard, Nottingham and the message reads: "Dear Amy, you will wonder when I intend to keep my promise to write to you, do you remember this Bridge I have been staying at Bromham a fortnight, have been ill, I return to business again on Saturday would like to have a few more walks here, You were very near to my diggings where you were in London at Bank Holiday, but I was away at the sea-side, Westcliff, so you would not have seen me if you had thought of calling Write me soon Amy give my kind regards to Mr. & Mrs Lee, love to yourself from Rose."
