IV. [1826/7] NOW consideration: £1050 paid by ii) to i), grants to ii) - A. piece of ground on the North side of Horn Lane in the parish of St. Paul, Bedford, formerly part of the garden purchased by i) from George Sharp and conveyed by HT1/13/17 [the remainder was sold to the Trustees in 1831 - see HT1/13/33 - 4] - B. another piece of ground adjoining the above, formerly part of the garden or pleasure ground purchased by i) of William Butlin by lease and release dated 23/24 August 1808 Properties A and B now laid into one piece, and bounded: N: other ground of the Trustees of the Bedford Charity E: other ground of the Trustees, sold to them by i) S: Horn Lane W: ground heretofore part of the said garden or pleasure ground, and sometime since sold by i) to John Pierson Palgrave and now belonging to Charles Frederick Palgrave - C. messuage or tenement formerly in the occupation of the widow Pearson, and now and for some time past in the occupation of Thomas Conquest, in Horn lane in the parish of St. Paul, Bedford :S.Horn Lane - another messuage or tenement in Horn Lane, heretofore in the occupation of Henry Banks, since of John Banks, late of Widow Jones, and now unoccupied. Heretofore a stable, and formerly a warehouse :W. last mentioned premises - cottage, tenement or dwellinghouse in Horn Lane, heretofore in the occupation of William King, since of William Hurst, & now of James Lilley :S. Horn Lane :E. Last mentioned premises :W. and N. yard or ground belonging to the said messuage or tenement late the property and residence of i), but now of the said Trustees endorsed: receipt by i) to ii) for £1050 release also endorsed: note of registration of freehold title in H.M.
