Edward King Fordham of Royston declares: That he is the uncle of John William Fordham of Sandon, Hertfordshire, farmer, he being the son of his [E.K. Fordham's] brother William Fordham late of Sandon, deceased. That William Fordham died intestate on 5 November 1829, leaving John William Fordham his eldest son and heir That John William Fordham had enjoyed rents & profits of a freehold estate at Bedford since the death of his father witness: Henry Thurnall signature: E.K.
