    1) Benjamin Johnson of Bedford, late a carpenter and now out of business. 2) John Brown of Bedford, butcher. 3) William Lamb of Bedford, hairdresser In consideration of £33 paid by 2) and 3) to 1). - Two newly erected messuages lately built by the said John Brown and William Lamb on the site of two tenements formerly one tenement with the appurtenances in St Cuthbert's, Bedford formerly in the occupation of John Pennyfather and Lucy Phillips, widow and the small piece of ground and outbuildings thereto belonging. East - tenement of Jonathan Stevens, West and South property of Daniel Attack, North - common street. Covenant against dower. Signed John Brown, Benjamin Johnson, William Lamb. Endorsed with receipt. Witnesses Thomas W Turnley, solicitor and Thomas Row, solicitor's clerk.
