[John Taylor left his property in the Butcher Row to John Stockdale of Bedford, salesman, in trust for the use of his nephew Randall Leach and his heirs, or indefault of such, to his nephew John Leach and his heirs. ln the will in the records of the Archdeacon's Court, the property is described as: - shop in the upper end of the Butcherowe in the occupation of Richard Smith :E. Common Street - another shop in the lower end of the Butcherowe in the occupation of the said Richard Smith and Joseph Roberts - another shop in Butcherow late in the occupation of cousin John Taylor and now in the occupation of William Nottingham.
