Refers to death of Mr Burns. Came to Canada in 1906. Is teaching music, but hopes to secure a Bachelor degree. All school certificates have disappeared 'during my circumlocations round the earth.' Hopes School may be able to provide a letter to assist his application. Was at the School 1891-1894/5. Writer reports the death of his father, B.C. Palmer.
