Brother Frank is in Natal working at accountancy and sugar planting. He started in the Natal police during the Boer War. He is now married and settled in Durban. The writer joined the South African police, only to give it up on arrival in Cape Town to join up in General French's Field Intelligence. Is now in the civil service. Brother Harry is at Johannesburg. He had a commission in the Lincoln's during the war. Another brother, Gerald is in Canada.
