    John Topham the elder of Nether Staploe, yeoman, body to be buried in Eaton Socon Churchyard To son John, house in which testator dwelt, with orchard, garden and 10 acres arable lying against the homestall; To son Thomas, dwelling house in the Dole with barns, orchards and 5 acres arable in Duloe Stocking and 2 acres in Duloe Field, as set out in deed of 19 Nov 1656 [X363/1/10] now occupied by Thomas Topham; To son James Topham, Crox Close and 5 acres arable, as set out in X363/1/10, now occupied by James Topham; To son John, joint chair, pewter charger and all shelves in milk house, pair of cob irons and pot hooks, a cheese rack, a crow of iron, a boarded bed and the boarded bed in the stable loft; To Thomas Topham, cupboard in the little chamber, a barrel, and old coffer and an old stool; To James Topham, table in parlour, 2 joint stools, a joint chest that stands against the parlour window, a coverlid, a flaxen sheet and a flaxen border cloth; To daughter Barbary, the joint bedstand in the parlour and all that belongs to it, the old coffer in the little chamber, a candlestick and pewter platter, a linen wheel and a woollen wheel, a chair and a cradle; To daughter Alice, the table in the hall, a glass case, a form in the hall, the coffer under the stairs in the parlour, a pewter platter, a boarded bed in the little chamber, a blanket and a bolster, a little “himnell” [hymnal], a cradle and a joint stool; Appoints son, John sole executor Witnesses: Richard Crow George Graye
