General news; has been suffering from a cold, but better now, has been rowing, to a meeting of the Cambridge Archaeological Society; to a museum to look at Roman artefacts. Gives the programme of examinations for the following week; includes Anglo Saxon & Icelandic texts, Norse history, Norse mythology, the Viking age, Anglo Saxon History, Celtic & Romas history and history of Teutonic peoples. 'I hope you do not expect me to get more than a 2nd, as I certainly shall not - of course a great deal is luck.' Thinking of hiring a punt for the rest of term; the charge for a month including May Week is £15; excluding May Week £6.
