Saw the King inspecting Bedford Grammar School Corps [presumably on a news reel] When in the city, saw women war workers marching down Piccadilly to present an address to the Queen on her silver wedding. Now wear swords for riding which is a great nuisance; sword drill on horseback is dull and tiring.
