Has recently got married, and is spending his honeymoon in the Argentine, 'the Government having allowed me two months leave'. On the launch taking him to the ship, met Sir Ernest Shackleton [encloses photograph; see BMS/CWK/95/17/5a]. Has obtained commission as a second lieutenant; is in charge of two machine guns. Seemingly part of Falkland Islands Defence Force
