Reports that Willie worked in the Education Department in Nigeria after the war, but returned after 12 years, and is now, temporarily, a junior master at Bedford Grammar School while seeking another job. Jack Stimson is doing well as a barrister in Liecester. Refers to the well known music hall artist and broadcaster Gillie Potter, the stage name of Hugh Peel, who left Bedford Modern School in 1905 or 1906. His father intended him to be a clergyman.
