    [from field names almost certainly Houghton Conquest] in occupation of James Baker arable in Home Field, Ash Mead Field and Manton Field total 40 acres, rent £17 John Lucas - cottage, 2 barns, clay walls and thatched granary N.B. - very bad repair orchard and slip; Rough Close; spinney (little value) arable in Town and Manton Field, Dean Field, Chapple End total 60 acres, rent £27 [it has not been possible to identify this estate but it appears that at least some of the property of Mr Southouse passed to the Earl of Upper Ossory - see RH9/59 (Register Volume V. pg.217) for reference to land held by Mr Southouse and subsequently by the Earl]
