Smithson of the Brick farm, Ravensden, says he will go surety for Clarke's rent at Hardwick Hill farm. Hickman was ruined at the Red Lion, Clarke is also being ruined there, "and if report speaks the truth, the woman is ruined also. She has nine children!". Is going to try & let the farms at Potton this afternoon.
