He was one of three children of Avery Clough Waters, formerly of 107 Dorset Road, Bexhill on Sea, where he died on 14 October 1916 and Beatrice Huthwaite Waters (whom he married 5 June 1902). They had only two children: Avery (born 30 March 1903) and Hugh (born 12 May 1907) both born at Southend on Sea, Essex Avery Clough Waters (the father)'s Will was made 4 November 1912, with 2 Codicils dated 17 December 1912 & 25 August 1915. Probate was granted at the District Probate Office at Lewes on 15 January 1917. He appointed Mrs Beatrice Huthwaite Waters and Mary Sarah Waters (sister to the deceased) & Walter Henry Moore. Mary Sarah Waters died at 13 Woburn Place, London on 27 February 1934. Annuitant Maria Sarah Hartland died at Southend Municipal Hospital, Rochford, Essex on 15 January 1932. Details of investments
