Sent to Miss H Cort, Leceister. Message reads 'Dear Hilda I received handkerchielves today and powders. But I told you not to send them as I have brought both on 18th. I have been washing today and I can't see what I've done. I hope Charlie goes on alright he ought to because he has missed the rush he wont be moved all he is capable of riding kicking arses and killing paded nem[?] Alf.'
