Reads: "My Dear Sirs, I am much concerned to find that my answer to your last kind letter and acknowledgment of its enclosure has never been deceived. I wrote to you by [?] of post, and directed my letter, according to the date of yours, to Waterloo place, Pall Mall. I gave you at the same time the address of my brother, Colonel Brown, at the Marquis of Londonderry, Holderness House, Park Lane, where he has been for some days hoping to have the pleasure of seeing you, but upon my acquainting him with your present address he will call at your house himself. I am at loss to account for the miscarriage of this letter. I wish my letter to you might be inquired for and recovered".
