- Scope and ContentFrom George Pringle of the Ecclesiastical Commission to Rev. Frederick Veasey: “I now beg on behalf of the Ecclesiastical Commissioners for England to transmit to you herewith a print of the London Gazette of the 11th instant containing a copy of the Instrument substituting the new Church of Saint Margaret situate within the limits of the Parish of Lidlington for the old Church of that Parish and transferring to the new Church and to its Incumbent and his successors the endowments emoluments and rights of or belonging to the old Church or its Incumbent. The Instrument itself has been forwarded to Mr. W. J. I shall be glad to hear that this has been done. I have informed the Bishop of Ely of the completion of the substitution in order that his Lordship may give any directions which he may deem necessary as to those matters connected with the old Church which under the Act of the 8 and 9 Vict. C. 70. S. 1 fall within his Lordship’s jurisdiction as Bishop of the Diocese.
