Lidlington Parish Church closed as a building in 2009. In 2012 it was sold for redevelopment with the shell to be kept and two houses to be formed inside. The congregation joined with the other congregations in the village and, as of January 2012, continue to worship at the Methodist Church. The Churchwardens still maintain responsibility for the burial ground.
