Anticipated Pitt's conduct. Has given Fox his reasons for believing that the dr. will when driven to extremity act as Pitt expects. Mary is better. Wishes he could think his father's attendance on the ministers a thing to be disregarded. It is discreditable. The stuff he writes about politics quite makes writer sweat. Likeness between Miss Winkle (?) & Miss Baker. She has written to Mary, who sent the letter & her answer to Mrs. Creevy.
