Despair of peace. To remove Mary out of the question, will not be confined till December. John Ponsonby's marriage certain. Streatfield's marriage foolish. Mrs Wilmot to be with SW at Christmas. Plumer's bad qualities increase. Would like better news of his sister. Would like information about Houses of Industry. Has not heard anything of the gold medal.
