    (1) Richard Antonie of Colworth, Esq (Landlord). (2) Jonathan Sexton of Great Stoughton (Staughton) Huntingdonshire,Yeoman. Messuage or farmhouse with Barns, Stables, Hogsties, Hovels, Yards, Orchards, Colworth, now in occupance of Theophilus Woodward. AND all those several closes or pieces of ground called Long Close or Home Close, Five Shilling Close and Twelve Shilling Close, Hill Ground, Hill Ground Spinney, Low Clipsey, Bushey Leys Wood Close, Bushey Leys, Eight Acres Close, Upper Clipsey, Ashes, Two Acres at the Gate ,Twelve Shilling Green ,Four Acre Piece and Cowpers Piece (139Acres) in Sharnbrook and Souldrop (now in occupance of Theophilus Woodward). EXCEPT 14Acres part of Hill Ground which are already marked and stamped out from the remaining part Timber Rights reserved. EXCEPT for the arable grounds soun/sown? by present tenant Theophilus Woodward (usual clauses about barn being used for threshing this crop of Woodward's). Sexton agrees to fold sheep or well muck land used for tilth. He is allowed to break up and convert the tillage 8Acres of Bushey Leys. In 1772 Sexton is to put to grass Eight Acres Close and continue the same as sward for 3 years. Sexton agrees to bank and level yearly during his tenancy 4Acres of Hill Ground and to 'stub and stock up all the Bushes except Shadow Bushes in Hill Ground and in Lower Clipsey. Sexton is to level and bank Lower Clipsey and Home Close.He is allowed to sell such Bushes in Hill Ground and Lower Clipsey Closes, provide carriage from Bedford of 2 or 3 chaldrons of coals per annum to be delivered at Colworth House. Sexton agrees to make and keep during this lease a good and safe road for carriage through Wood Lane, Sharnbrook. Similar clauses re preventing new roads eyc as in GA2946. Rent £75per annum. £10 for every acre converted from pasture to tillage without permission.
