(1) Philadelphia Lee of Totteridge Park, Hertfordshire, Widow. Sir William Lee of Hartwell, Buckinghamshire, Baronet (Testamentary Guardians of William Lee Antonie, Esq., a Minor). (Landlords). (2)James Ward of Colworth, Yeoman. Messuage or farmhouse with barns, stables, outhouses, yards, orchards, gardens, and close of pasture called Home Close (22Acres, 1Rood, 28Poles). AND several Closes of arable, meadow and pasture land viz:- Close of pasture land called The New Ground Alias The Hop Ground (2Acres,1Rood, 10Poles). Kings French Grass Close (20Acres, 0Roods, 29Poles) (8Acres) of which are arable, rest meadowland EXCEPT out of this lease a piece of meadowland part of said Close containing 2Acres taken off by William Lee, Esq and laid into the adjoining Shrubbery. Close called the Stripe (5Acres 1Rood 20Poles.) Piece of arable in Sharnbrook Field called Long Piece (11Acres 2Roods 30Poles). Close of arable called Bear Garden Close (15Acres). Close of land called Far Ground (14Acres, of which 10Acres are arable; rest pasture) all in Colworth. Rent £65. 4s. Usual £10 per acre for arable land converted into pasture without permission.
