    Parties: (i) Joseph Williamson the younger of Luton, hatter; (ii) John Coles of Luton, grocer and tallow chandler. Reciting: - Z1550/4, purchase by Joseph Williamson from John Okey of Bath, Elizabeth his wife and William Okey of High Wycombe Operative part: - (i) leases (a) to (ii) for 1 year for a peppercorn rent (lease to be associated with a release dated the following day) Property: (a) Land in common fields of Luton late in the occupation of Andrew Ewbank as follows: - 1 acre, 1 rood and 20 poles in Bridge Field, abutting: footpath to Round Green; highway from Luton to Round Green; land formerly of Mr Dalby, now of John Procter, clerk; - 1 acre, 1 rood and 33 poles being the NW side of a piece of arable land lying in Bridge Field containing 4 acres 1 rood and 6 poles, the remainder of 2 acres 3 roods and 13 poles being conveyed by (i) to Matthew Coles of Luton, grocer and tallow chandler, abutting: on one side land formerly of Mr Ewer and now of Samuel Chase; on the other side land formerly of Sir Theophilus Napier and now of the Earl of Bute; at one end land formerly of Mr Ewer and now of Samuel Chase; on the other end land formerly of Mr Dalby and now of John Proctor Witnesses: - William Hampson - William Pittman
