Acknowledges cheque for £10 towards Leighton Bridge. The meeting for the road went off well. Owing to state of finances could not make a contract for a weighing machine at Hockliffe. But the balance having improved, the machine is now ordered, The weight of loads must be limited according to the breadth of the wheels. There is now less opposition.
