Also 3 acres 3 roods 2 perches in Lowsey Mead in Maulden [as in WE990]. ... Also a close of arable (4¾ acres) in Mill Field in Lidlington, bounded on all sides by land formerly of the Earl of Upper Ossory, and now of the Duke of Bedford. ....A close of pasture (5 acres 33 perches) in Lidlington near a place called Holly Bush Close, bounded NW. by land formerly of Anthony Botsford, on SW. by Angers Lane, on SW. and SE. by Grassy Plot Close, on SW. by land formerly of the Earl of Upper Ossory and now of the Duke of Bedford, and on NW. by land formerly of William Line and Edward Green. ... Also a close of pasture (4 acres 1 rood 15 perches), bounded on E. by land formerly of Edward Green, SE. by the close last mentioned, SW. by land formerly of the Earl of Upper Ossory and now of the Duke of Bedford, and NW. by a private road; in Lidlington, called the Lower Piece. ... And Grassy Plot Close in Lidlington (1 acre 1 rood 17 perches), bounded S. by the highway. (All which property in Lidlington contains 15 acres 2 roods 25 perches, and was purchased by John Morris (the father) from James Baker and wife Ann, by Lease and Release, dated 20, 21 February 1800: i) Edward Mardall; ii) James Baker and wife Ann; iii) John Morris; and iv) John Edwards). (All which hereinbefore-described property was devised by John Morris (father) to use of said late testator, his son John Morris, by Will dated 24 June 1816, and proved in Prerogative Court of Canterbury 20 January 1817). ... Also several messuages in Flitton; a close of pasture (4 acres 2 roods 27 perches), lying near the river, and 7 acres 3 roods 32 perches of land, (both allotted to John Morris (the father) under Flitton-with-Silsoe and Pulloxhill Enclosure Award); (which said messuages etc. were purchased by John Morris (the father) by Lease and Release dated 1, 2 August 1806: i) John Edwards and John Pryor of Baldock; ii) Thomas Bushby; and iii) the said John Morris; included in which were 2 acres land purchased by the said John Morris from William Morris of Ampthill, baker, by Lease and Release, dated 18, 19 May 1812; and all which said property was devised by said John Morris in his Will (recited above), to use of his sons John and Joseph Morris, and conveyed in trust to Henry Ashby, Mary Ann Morris and Jane Morris, by Lease and Release, dated 23, 24 June 1828: i) Joseph Morris and wife Martha; ii) Henry Ashby, Mary Ann Morris and Jane Morris; and iii) Thomas Barnard).
