Counsel's Opinion, correspondence, reports and other papers relating to the claim of Mrs Sherwood, widow of Arthur Sherwood, gamekeeper, against the County Council following his fatal bicycle accident on 30 August 1919. The claim arose from the verdict of the Inquest Jury that the accident occured because of the bad state of repair of the road.
