Scope and Content
i) Charity Ann Thomas, Ryde, Isle of Wight, spinster; ii) Thomas Luck of - ; by a lease of 16 June 1825 between a) John Lind, West Mont, Isle of Wight, Esquire, and wife Elizabeth Lydia and b) i), a) leased to b) property as below for 99 years or the survivor of 3 lives, at yearly rent of £2 2s, with covenant for perpetual renewal of the said lease by adding a new life on the death of any existing life; now in consideration of £300 paid by ii) to i); i) assigns to ii) - messuage etc in Union Street, Ryde, erected by James Mundell, in the occupation of i); measuring East to West on North and South parts 150ft; North to South on East and West parts 42 ft; bounded East, Union Street; West, back street or way; North, - Young; South, i); - indenture of lease with benefit of renewal etc; to hold in trust for sale and shall assign the same for the remainder of the said term of 99 years. Money received shall, after all expenses paid, repay said £300. Residue to i); premises to be insured
