- all messuages, lands etc in Kempston to mother, Mary Burt for life and then to brother Robert Burt; said brother, Robert Burt is directed to pay legacy of £20 to brother John Burt and £20 to sister Ann Burt; Mother is not to cut down any timber for sale except what is needed to repair the premises; also to mother - household goods and furniture in house at Kempston - working tools and timber in house at Kempston; Mother appointed executrix; will dated 22 July 1790; with codicil dated 12 Sept 1790; devise of messuages and lands in Kempston to mother for life cancelled and property, in the occupation of William Simons and John Plumer, given to her for ever; will proved (Bedford) 5 Oct 1790
