    i) William Gealing, Pavenham, stonemason, and wife Mary, late Mary Harrison, spinster; ii) John Day, Bedford, Esquire; i) have previously sold 2 of cottages in Cauldwell Street and part of the orchard to ii); now in consideration of £600; i) Release to ii); - cottage with yard and garden adjoining in St Mary's, Bedford, on North Side of Cauldwell Street, known by the name of The Cherry Tree, formerly in the occupation of Thomas Musgrave and afterwards of Robert Crofts and now of Mary Hipwell, widow - 2 cottages and gardens adjoining now in the occupations of William Bacchus and - Irons; - orchard adjoining called the Cherry Orchard, formerly held by widow Freelove, afterwards Edward Wales and now of ii); - 3 coal wharves near said orchard, now in the occupation of Joseph Barnard and William Watkins - Back Lane, passage or yard leading Cauldwell Street to said wharves; - 1 acre meadow lying behind and adjoining said orchard and abutting on river Ouze late also in the occupation of Robert Musgrave, then of Edward Wales and now of John Day; - ditch on East of said meadow leading from river Ouze to near said wharf and used as a canal; all were purchased by said Edward Wales of John Watmouth; - cottage and garden adjoining in North side of Cauldwell Street; West, site where tithe barn of St Mary's formerly stood; East, said back lane; South, Cauldwell Street; formerly in the occupation of William Billingham, afterwards of George Wales then of widow Larkinson and now of Thomas Line and purchased by said Edward Wales of John Rogers; covenant to levy fine; Signatures i) Endorsed receipt; Witnesses: Theed Pearse, William Whitworth
